Our language assistant's name is Winny. She is from Kenya. 

This is what she tells us about her country:

I come from western part of Kenya, a place called Kakamega and we are Luhyas. We speak Luhya as a language and we are the second largest ethnic tribe in Kenya. Luhyas have 16 sub-tribes. Several families made up a sub-clan and several sub-clans made up a clan. We have nearly 750 clans in Luhyaland.
